I like to use carob as an alternative for chocolate from time to time. It contains less fat and it’s original taste is also sweeter, which means that you don’t have to use any sweetener. These carob bites without dairy or added sweetener are just perfect to satisfy your chocolatey tooth from time to time.
What you need
- 1 cup carob powder
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
What you do
- Mix all ingredients until well combined and create little bites. I do that with a teaspoon but can also use nice and funky ice cube moulds.
- Place in the fridge for 45 min.
