Simple Avocado Mousse


Avocados! In case you haven’t noticed yet, I am having a huge love affairs with these beautiful dark green and creamy bulbs.


So what could be easier than creating a delicious and simple avocado mousse?


This avocado mousse is the perfect alternative to puddings and other kind of sugary mousses because it’s packed with healthy fats, that will keep you satisfied but doesn’t contain much sugar.


I’ve topped it up with some strawberries to add a bit more sweetness to it because the whole recipe is absolutely sugar-free. And you won’t need to add any sweetener if you don’t want to because the coconut cream should be enough.


If you have a sweet tooth though, feel free to add a few stevia drops or a bit of xylitol. It will do the trick without spiking your blood sugar levels ;)

Simple Avocado Mousse



What you need (serves 2)


1 whole ripe avocado

About 250 ml coconut cream – refrigerated (or the flesh of a young coconut)

1 tablespoon xylitol or fav sweetener – optional

1 pinch of cinnamon - optional

1 pinch sea salt - optional




Anything you like. Cacao nibs and berries go very well with it!



What you do


1. Blend everything (except toppings) into your high speed blender until well-combined and creamy.

2. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
