Now that the holiday craziness has faded out and that everyone is starting her/is normal life again, I wanted to pop-up into your inbox to take time to properly wish you a truly wonderful new year!

New year, new beginnings… and I really wish you all the best in 2014. I know you have the power to create what you really want for yourself.

I’ve recently taken some time offline to relax and recharge. This was sooo nice.

I’ve also enjoyed this time to reflect on 2013 and set up my intentions for 2014. If you haven’t done it yet, I really encourage you to do the same!

You know how the saying goes: “If you don’t know where you want to go, you’ll end up nowhere“. That means that there is actually no chance to end up where you want to be if you are not clear on what you really want for yourself.

Be über clear on where you want to go and what you want to create for yourself. This is the only way to actually get there - clarity. Also, we know that we often overestimate what we can do on the short term but underestimate what we can do on the long term, so this is your chance to have a clear map about 2014. My lovely friend Frances from The Happi Empire has created an amazing play-book to help you with that. This is the one I’ve used to work on my intentions and you can download it for FREE here until Jan 19! How awesome is that?

One of my intention was to take more time for myself and take better care of myself too. This is probably one of the most important thing Bali has taught me so far. We are used to run through life has if it was a deadly sin to stop being productive for a moment (especially in our industrialised countries). An I was the first one on board (I am probably still is a little bit – changes happen over time, right ;)

But I’ve recently learned that the most important was really NOT what we were doing or achieving. Instead, taking time to reflect on yourself and try to become who you really want to be in this world is probably way more important.

Being present and spending some quality time with the people that are important for you is also something we put on the side too often for good (or not so good) excuses. But is that aligned with who you want to be?

My intentions for this year are just that.

And you will see, I already have a few experiences planned that will probably surprise you… but I’ll tell you more about that very soon.

In the meantime, I really encourage you to take time to pause and set up your intentions for this new beautiful year.

Here are a few questions you might want to ask yourself:

  • Who do I want to be in this world?
  • What are the values that are precious to me and how can I integrate them even more in my day-today life?
  • What kind of friend do I want to be?
  • What kind of girlfriend/wife do I want to be?
  • What kind of mother do I want to be?
  • What kind of daughter do I want to be?

NewYearThankYou
