Healthy Eating In Bali is actually quite easy, but as per everywhere else, if you don’t know where to go, it makes things a bit trickier. Especially if you are on holiday and only have a few days to find out the best places to eat or to pamper yourself.


Well, after spending a little while on this gorgeous island, I’ve listed and reviewed of all the best places. I arrived in Bali in July 2013 and I’ve been eating out every single day so far. I’ve managed to try HEAPS of things and believe me, I know what I am talking about!

My Top 3 Healthy Places in Ubud, Bali


1. Dayu’s Warung

Dayu’s Warung is definitely one of my favourite place in Ubud. After healing her daughter, Dayu has open her little restaurant, which has became popular quite quickly. The menu offers a huge variety of super healthy and delicious dishes. You will find amazing gluten-free dishes, raw cakes and desserts, vegan and vegetarian options as well as more traditional dishes – always tweaked to be super healthy. She doesn’t use any gluten, refined sugar or dairy and you will never find refined products on the menu.

She has her own organic garden at the back of the restaurant and serve fresh and home-grown, organic nutritious food only!


2. Clear Café

Clear is one of the most popular places in Ubud. The menu is quite large and offers options for everyone including the little ones. You will find Indonesian, Indian, Mexican and Western dishes as well many raw food, macrobiotic, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available and all taste delicious.

This place is vegetarian and don’t serve any meat, except fish.

On top of that, the place is really nice and is perfect for a nice little dinner in a romantic atmosphere as well as for a casual breakfast or lunch. As most places in Bali they have free wifi, you just have to ask for the password ;-)


3. Alchemy

Alchemy is another ‘must’ if you like fine raw, vegan food. This place is 100% raw and has an amazing salad bar plenty of great and creative raw toppings. They also have delicious organic smoothies, juices and scrumptious raw desserts. It’s very difficult for some people to leave Ubud without trying them all lol!

They also have a little health food store inside the restaurant, and you can also buy their juices in big bottle, perfect to sip throughout the day.



These 3 places are just awesome and will already keep you busy if you are spending just a couple of days in Ubud.
