Who said we couldn’t indulge in a nice and delicious chocolate treat when we pay attention to our health?

This brownie is a real treat & is super easy to prepare. This is the perfect option when you have guests. I’ve made this recipe several time in my cooking workshops and this was also the cake I made for my fabulous 30′s! Each time, I’ve got the same feedback: A-MA-ZING! ;)

The quantities are for about 6 pieces of brownie and as usual, I am using organic products.


For the ‘WAW’ effect, serve with my super easy Cashew & Hazelnut Cream.


What you need


 For the brownie

  • 1/2 cup pecans (soaked overnight)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (soaked overnight)
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 pinch salt


For the frosting

  • 1 ripe small avocado
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt


What you do


For the brownie

- Process everything in your food processor or high speed blender until well combine.

- Spread and press the mixture evenly in a brownie plate and place in the fridge.


For the frosting

- Blend all ingredients in your high speed blender (or food processor) until well combine. You should obtain a nice chocolate paste.

- Spread the frosting on top of your base and place in the fridge for about 1 hour.

- Sprinkle a few extra nuts on top for decoration if you wish.

- Enjoy this delicious chocolate pleasure :P
